Sage 500

The Sage 500 template provides a ready‑to‑use set of data models and dashboards to help you quickly analyze your Sage 500 data.

Prerequisites​

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • Sage 500: A supported version installed.
  • Installation package: The latest package downloaded from ShareFile.
  • SEI OLAP for SQL Server: The latest component, downloaded from the package and installed.

Installation steps​

Direct production database access​

All configuration is performed in SEI, connecting directly to your live Sage 500 production database. Perform these steps on SEI:

  1. Set up the data sources in SEI
  2. Import the template
  3. Build and load the OLAP cubes
