Sage 300 People

The Sage 300 People template provides a ready‑to‑use set of data models and dashboards to help you quickly analyze your Sage 300 People data.

Prerequisites​

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • Sage 300 People: A supported version installed.
  • Destination database: A target database, preferably matching your Sage 300 People database collation.
  • DataSync: A supported version installed.
  • Installation package: The latest package downloaded from ShareFile.

Installation steps​

Start by selecting step 1. Be sure to read each page carefully and follow the instructions as written. Use the button at the bottom of each page to continue to the next step. The Installation Progress on every page shows where you are and what remains.

Via replicated data warehouse​

Production data is replicated to a data warehouse using DataSync.
The template then reads from the warehouse. Use DataSync for replication, then configure SEI:

  1. Set up the data and API access
  2. Create the source connection
  3. Create the destination connection
  4. Import the synchronization extraction
  5. Schedule the extraction
  6. Set up the data source in SEI
  7. Import the template
