Trial Balance
The Trial Balance workbooks list all general ledger accounts with their debit and credit balances for a selected period. They are a key step in the financial close process, used to confirm the books are in balance before producing financial statements. Two versions are available depending on what you need. The standard Trial Balance shows total debit and credit activity per account, making it a quick option when you just need to review what was posted during the period. The second one adds a beginning balance and an ending balance, making it the better choice for reconciliations and period-end reviews.

You can find these workbooks in the navigation panel on the left under Workbooks. Expand the Finance folder, then open the Trial Balance folder.
