Balance Sheet

The Balance Sheet workbooks show your company's financial position across Assets, Liabilities, and Equity as of a specific date. Finance teams use them to review balances and track what changed from one period to the next.

Both workbooks include Year-over-Year comparisons showing this year's balances against the same period last year, with variance in dollars and percent. The MoM & YoY workbook goes further by adding a Month-over-Month comparison against the immediately prior period, making it useful when you need to track both short-term movements and longer-term trends in the same view.

Benefits of the balance sheet workbooks

  • Understand your financial position by seeing what the company owns and owes on a specific date, including cash, receivables, payables, and debt.
  • Spot significant changes quickly using period-over-period comparisons that highlight what moved since last month or last year.
  • Support month-end review and reporting with a consistent balance sheet view for close activities, management reporting, and stakeholder conversations.
