Finance (Real Time)

The Finance (Real Time) data model provides a real-time view of financial data from Sage Intacct. It is built around a centralized general ledger history table and exposes pre-aggregated period balances without heavy transformations or large transactional joins. Core accounting dimensions include account, location, department, subaccount, and financial period, alongside standardized financial measures such as beginning balance, turnover, debit, credit, and ending balance. Use this data model to perform fast and reliable financial analysis while keeping the impact on your ERP system to a minimum. Because the underlying Sage Intacct query requires a location value, the Data Model Preview button is disabled for this data model.

This data model is built around a specific structure that requires precise parameters to return data correctly. Creating custom views directly inside this data model is not recommended as they will not have the required setup to function properly.
