Dashboards
A dashboard combines one or more views in the same workspace to give you a broad picture of your business data. You can include different types of views such as worksheets, charts, gauges, and maps on the same dashboard, even if they come from different data models.
Dashboards are typically used for monitoring key metrics and sharing high-level overviews, but they work for any scenario where you need to bring multiple analyses together in one place.
When to use dashboards
- Monitor key metrics by building a visual summary that makes trends and anomalies easy to spot.
- Combine multiple analyses to compare data from different sources or models in one view.
- Share high-level overviews with teams or stakeholders who need a quick read on performance.
- Explore data visually using charts, maps, and filters directly on the dashboard.
