This data model allows users to map Sage X3 analytical dimensions to the finance module so that multidimensional reporting can be used consistently across financial data models. By linking operational dimensions (such as cost centers, projects, or departments) to the analytical dimension IDs, the system ensures that financial transactions can be analyzed by business structure and segment. Once mapped, these dimensions become immediately available for advanced filtering, grouping, and analysis in finance reports.
