This report compares the company’s financial position at the end of the current period against the same period last year.
Key metrics at a glance

TY (This Year): The actual balances of all asset, liability, and equity accounts for the current year‑to‑date reporting date.

LY (Last Year): The actual balances of the same accounts as of the same date one year earlier.

Var $ (Variance in Dollars): Shows the difference between TY and LY. Formula: TY – LY A positive variance means the account balance increased from last year; a negative variance means it decreased.

Var % (Variance Percentage): Shows the percentage change from last year to this year. Formula: (TY – LY) / LY * 100

All the reports in the Balance Sheet section have the same report structure that can be customized based on the Account Grouping of Sage Intacct.
The following mapping needs to be changed accordingly in the "Mapping" Sheet of each report.
