Nectari Copilot Credits Usage
This page explains how credit usage works for Nectari Copilot Professional, including how different actions consume credits. With the Professional license, you receive 7,500 credits per month, and you can use additional credits through SEI’s pay-as-you-go model if needed.
Understand credits
Credits are the usage units that power Nectari Copilot. Every interaction—asking a question, generating insights, analyzing data, or summarizing content—consumes credits based on the size and complexity of the request.
Your Professional subscription includes 7,500 monthly credits, giving you immediate access to AI features without needing to understand technical concepts like tokens. Credits simply represent the amount of AI processing required behind the scenes.
If you use more than the included credits, Nectari Copilot continues to work seamlessly through pay-as-you-go billing. You can also set a monthly spending limit to stay in control. Any additional usage within that limit is billed at the end of your monthly cycle—simple, predictable, and fully manageable.
What most impacts credit consumption
Nectari Copilot’s credit usage depends primarily on the amount of information it must process and the context it needs to generate a response. The following elements have the greatest impact on consumption:
- Prompt and response size
Longer questions and more detailed answers naturally consume more credits. - Conversation context
To maintain continuity, Nectari Copilot includes up to the last 10 messages in its reasoning. More context can increase usage. - Amount of data analyzed
When working with worksheets or dashboards, credit usage scales with the volume of data sent (e.g., expanded worksheets or dashboards with multiple views). - Data model complexity
Richer models with relationships, calculations, and structured data require more processing, which can increase credit consumption.
