Installation Steps in SEI

This topic describes the installation steps to migrate data from your ERP to Sage Intacct in SEI.

Installation Prerequisites

Perform these steps:

  1. Install the SEI Web Application.

  2. Download the migration zip packages from ShareFile.

Adding the Data Source in SEI

Add the SEI database as data source in your environment.

  1. Open the Web Server application.

  2. In the Administration section , click Env. & Data Sources in the left pane.

  3. Fill out the fields as described in Environments and Data Sources, specifically:

    1. Select SQLSERVER as the type of database connection the data source is using.

    2. Select Migration as database schema.

    3. Select the Use Specific option as authentication strategy.

    4. Enter the User Name and Password.

  4. Click Validate and then Save.

Importing the Template in SEI

You need to install the template downloaded from ShareFile on your Central Point. This will create all the tables needed for migration and data entry and correction.

  1. In the Administration section, select Templates > Import Template.

  2. Perform the steps as described in Importing a Template. Select the Intacct migration.zip file.

  3. Click Home to go to the Data Models and Views page.

  4. Expand the Intacct Migration folder to view the models and entities.
