Manage DataSync Account
DataSync requires a registered user account linked to a valid product license before anyone can sign in. If DataSync is not yet installed and configured on your server, start with the installation guide before creating any accounts.
Once your account is active, you can sign in to access your connections, extractions, and all other modules. If you ever need to change how DataSync connects to your mail server or database, those settings are managed separately in Settings.
Register a user
Registration creates your user profile and ties it to a valid product license. Without this step, access to DataSync is not possible.
- Go to the DataSync login page.
- Select Register.
- Enter the email address, username, first name, and last name for the new user.
- In the Serial Number field, enter your product license number.
- Click Register.
The new user appears in the Users list in the Settings module and receives an activation email to set a password before signing in.
You can add several users under the same license, or create different usernames under the same email address.

Login page overview
- Version is the major version number of the application.
- Release is the minor release number, useful for identifying the current update level.
- Build is the number for this specific instance of the software.
- Language controls the display language. DataSync currently supports English and French.
- Username is your account username, which can be an employee ID, email address, or custom name set during registration.
- Password is your account password. Passwords are case-sensitive.
- Log in submits your credentials and opens DataSync.
Steps to sign in
Signing in requires a registered account and a password set from the activation email. Make sure both steps are complete before attempting to log in.
- Choose your language from the dropdown in the top-right corner.
- Enter the username created during registration.
- Enter the password set from your activation email.
- Click Log In.
Reset password
If you no longer have access to your password, you can request a reset directly from the login page. DataSync sends a reset link to the email address associated with your account.
- On the login page, select Forgot your password?.
- Enter the username you used during registration.
- Click Submit.
- Open the email you receive and follow the on-screen instructions to set a new password.

Password requirements
Your password must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be at least 8 characters long.
- Contain at least 1 uppercase letter (A–Z) and 1 lowercase letter (a–z).
- Contain at least 1 number (0–9).
