Creating the Source Connections
You need to create four source connections for data migration to Sage X3 in DataSync (see Adding a Source and Destination Connection for details).

Create one source for the ERP source.

Enter a meaningful description (for example, Sage 1000 Source for Sage X3 Migration).

Select SQL Server as your source connection.

Create one source for the SEI cube (staging table).

Enter a meaningful description (for example, Sage X3 Migration Staging Table).

Select SQL Server as your source connection.

Create one source for the destination table.

Enter a meaningful description (for example, Sage X3 Migration Destination Table).

Select SQL Server as your source connection.

Set the Tracking Type to Date.

Create one source for the data entry folder path.

Enter a meaningful description (for example, Sage X3 Migration Data Entry Folder Path).

Select Flat File as your source connection.

Enter the folder path in the URI field.

Select CSV as file extension.
