Creating the Destination Connections

You need to create three destination connections for data migration to Sage X3 in DataSync (see Adding a Source and Destination Connection for details).

  1. Destination Table

    Create one destination for the destination table based on your SEI database.

    1. Enter a meaningful description (for example, Sage X3 Migration Destination).

    2. Select the appropriate database type for your destination connection.

  2. Data Entry Folder Path

    Create one destination for the data entry folder path.

    1. Enter a meaningful description (for example, Sage X3 Migration Data Entry Folder Path).

    2. Select Flat File as your destination connection.

    3. Enter the folder path in the URI field.

    4. Select CSV as file extension.

  3. Migration Folder Path

    Create one destination for the migration folder path.

    1. Enter a meaningful description (for example, Sage X3 Migration Folder Path).

    2. Select Flat File as your destination connection.

    3. Enter the folder path in the URI field.

    4. Select CSV as file extension.
