Updating Data in Excel

If you are using Excel, it is also possible to make your changes there, and then import the CSV to update the Final tables in Sage X3.

To update data using Excel:

  1. In DataSync, run Extraction 4 ( created in Importing the Extractions to export data to CSV.

    1. Select the extraction from the list and click the Run Extraction Now icon.

    2. Click Run.

  2. Open the CSV file in Excel and fix the data.

  3. In DataSync, run Extraction 5 to import the CSV and update the Final tables.

    1. Select the extraction from the list and click the Run Extraction Now icon.

    2. Click Run.
