Importing the Extractions

Extraction 1 - ERP Source to the Staging table

  1. Import the first extraction by selecting the Migration extraction type as described in Adding an Extraction.

  2. Perform the steps as described in Setting Up the Extraction.

    1. Select the source connection created as ERP source in Step 1.

    2. Select the destination connection created as migration destination in Step 1.

    3. Select Update and Insert for the Data Loading Mode option.

  3. Validate and Build the extraction.

Extraction 2 - Destination validation

  1. Import the extraction by selecting the Synchronization extraction type as described in Adding an Extraction. Use your Sage Intacct database as the source and your migration database as the destination.

  2. Perform the steps as described in Setting Up the Extraction, specifically:

    1. Select the source connection created as destination table in Step 3.

    2. Select the destination connection created as migration destination in Step 1.

    3. Make sure to select Update and Insert for the Data Loading Mode option.

    4. Select the Collations Transformation option if your source collation is different than the destination collation.

  3. Validate and Build the extraction.

Extraction 3 - SEI Consolidation to CSV

  1. Import the extraction by selecting the Export extraction type as described in Adding an Extraction.

  2. Perform the steps as described in Setting Up the Extraction.

    1. Select the source connection created as staging table in Step 2.

    2. Select the destination connection created as migration folder path in Step 3.

  3. Validate and Build the extraction.

Extraction 4 - CSV Data Entry Export

If you intend to update data in Excel files, you need to create an extraction for exporting to CSV and another extraction to import back from CSV.

  1. Import the extraction by selecting the Export extraction type as described in Adding an Extraction.

  2. Perform the steps as described in Setting Up the Extraction.

    1. Select the source connection created as staging table in Step 2.

    2. Select the destination connection created as data entry folder path in Step 2.

  3. Validate and Build the extraction.

Extraction 5 - CSV Data Entry Import

  1. Import the extraction by selecting the Export extraction type as described in Adding an Extraction.

  2. Perform the steps as described in Setting Up the Extraction.

    1. Select the source connection created as staging table in Step 2.

    2. Select the destination connection created as migration destination in Step 1.

  3. Validate and Build the extraction.

Example

After creating the extractions, you should see the staging tables in each extraction. They are displayed in the Table Destination column and start with STG.
