Mapping Data Sources to Staging

After installing SEI and DataSync, you need to load the initial data in the source tables to the Sage Intacct Staging environment in DataSync.

To load the source tables to Staging:

1. Run Extraction 1 created in Importing the Extractions. The first extraction takes the data from the source ERP tables and sends the data to the SEI staging table.

   1. Select the extraction you want to run in the list and click the Run Extraction Now icon.

   2. Click Run.

   

2. Run Extraction 2. The Synchronization extraction performs an ETL from your destination tables. Source data is validated against destination data to see if some field values already exist in your destination tables or if you need to create them manually.

   1. Select the extraction you want to run in the list and click the Run Extraction Now icon.

   2. Click Run.

Proceed to load the data to the FINAL tables.
