Creating the Source Connections

You need to create four source connections for data migration to Sage Intacct in DataSync (see Adding a Source and Destination Connection for details).

  1. ERP Source

    Create one source for the ERP source.

    1. Enter a meaningful description (for example, Sage 1000 Source for Sage Intacct Migration).

    2. Select SQL Server as your source connection.

  2. Staging Table

    Create one source for the SEI cube (staging table).

    1. Enter a meaningful description (for example, Sage Intacct Migration Staging Table).

    2. Select SQL Server as your source connection.

  3. Destination Table

    Create one source for the destination table.

    1. Enter a meaningful description (for example, Sage Intacct Migration Destination Table).

    2. Select SQL Server as your source connection.

    3. Set the Tracking Type to Date.

  4. Data Entry Folder Path

    Create one source for the data entry folder path.

    1. Enter a meaningful description (for example, Sage Intacct Migration Data Entry Folder Path).

    2. Select Flat File as your source connection.

    3. Enter the folder path in the URI field.

    4. Select CSV as file extension.
