Managing Imported Data

You can exclude imported items to avoid duplicates in your ERP using Import Flag if your ERP is configured to always generate new IDs on the Import (ex: Customer ID is generated automatically by the ERP).

After every successful export to CSV or import in your ERP, you can use the Exist in ERP Flag to easily identify the already imported items. This flag validates and compares the entries in your destination tables versus the data in your web interface Final table. For example, a customer name and a phone number we import the destination defines the unique key that you will use to validate if it is already there.

Excluding Records

After every successful export to CSV or import in your ERP, you can exclude records so that they do not appear in Field Validation.

To exclude records:

In the Web Interface, open the appropriate worksheet.
To exclude one or more records:
1. In the Import Flag column, enter 0 to exclude the record. The value of 1 keeps the record.
2. Repeat this step for each record as needed.
To exclude multiple records at once:
1. Move the Exists in ERP Flag dimension to the Groups section.
2. In the Import Flag column, enter 0 at the top level of the group. After pressing Enter, all entries are automatically updated for the group and the rows are highlighted in a different color.
Save the worksheet.

Bringing Only New Objects at Import

You can bring only new objects from the source when you already have imported data in the destination system. You need first to exclude the records that were imported in the destination system as described above.

Run Extraction 1.
1. Select the extraction in the list and click the Run Extraction Now icon.
2. Click Run.
Run the Load to Respective Table process as described in Loading Data to the Tables.
Fix the data if required on the new records as described in Validating and Correcting Data.
Run Extraction 3.
1. Select the extraction in the list and click the Run Extraction Now icon.
2. Click Run.
