Settings for Azure DevOps Online

This topic describes how to set up an Azure DevOps Online connection for DataSync.

To configure a new connection:

  1. In DataSync, create a new source connection for Azure DevOps Online.

  2. Fill out the fields in the Connection Properties panel as well as the fields described below.

  3. Click Save.

Connection Properties Description
Description Enter a name for the source connection.
Organization Enter your organization ID.
Project ID Enter the unique identifier (ID) associated with your organization's project.
Schema

Select the appropriate schema:

  • REST

  • Analytics

Personal access token Enter the personal access token used for accessing the data in your organization.
Connection Timeout Length of time in seconds to wait for a connection to the server before terminating the attempt and generating an error.
Verbosity

The verbosity level that determines the amount of detail included in the log file. Verbosity levels range from 1 to 5; the default is 3.

Enable Pooling

This parameter enables connection pooling. When it is selected, the three following properties are displayed:

  • Pool idle timeout: The allowed idle time for a connection before it is closed.

  • Max pool size: The maximum number of connections in the pool.

  • Pool wait time: The maximum number of seconds to wait for an available connection.

 

Additional Connection Properties Description
DefaultColumnSize Add this property and set the value to 4000.
