Viewing Info Pages

For more advanced users, SEI offers the option to extend the capabilities of the software by allowing for the creation and use of Info Pages, which contain information about the Data Model, and furthermore, can be used to launch scripts with given parameters.

Users can fill in elements such as text boxes, check boxes and drop-downs and then use buttons to launch SQL scripts that can use the information the users filled in as parameters.

To access an Info Page:

• In the Data Models and Views tab, right-click a Data Model and select View Info Pages.
  

  

  Tip

  By using Info Pages in conjunction with SEI’s ability to edit data a company can greatly extend the capabilities of SEI. Data Models can be created to customize tables. Info Pages can be used to import or export information to these custom tables from the company’s ERP system, or other databases, and back into the ERP system after the data has been edited. This is useful for budgets, forecasts, price lists, etc.
