Data Model Parameters

Workbooks will automatically detect whether there are data model parameters being used within the data extractions, formulas, and pivots created in the workbook.

When data models with data model parameters are used in the workbook, the Data Model Parameter pop-up window displays all the detected parameters upon opening.

Re-open the Data Model Parameter Pop-up

The Data Model Parameters pop-up window appears when you first open the workbook, but can also access it whenever you need to.

To access the Data Model Parameter pop-up:

1. From the workbook's Settings sidebar, select Data Model Parameters.

2. The Set Data Model Parameters pop-up window opens. If the value of the parameters is changed and there are NECFORMULAs using this parameter, the workbook will automatically clear its cache and re-evaluate the formulas with the newly-set values of the parameters.
