OAuth 2.0

With the OAuth 2.0 authentication method, users are granted access to an application after they have been authenticated through a third-party authentication server. This permits the application to avoid having to handle the authentication process themselves.

This section describes the steps to log into SEI using OAuth 2.0.

Important

Web browsers have updated their policy regarding cookies and these changes must be applied to your Web Server if you want SEI embedded into your ERP website, or use Single Sign-On (SSO). Refer to Cookie Management for more details.

To use OAuth 2.0, your Web Server needs to be set up as HTTPS, as described in Enhancing Security.
