Installing SEI
This section describes the installation steps of SEI components. Depending on your installation scenario, these components can be installed on one or several servers. Before proceeding with the SEI installation, a SEI specialist needs to plan according to a customer’s infrastructure and data volume characteristics. It is recommended to have a planning and infrastructure assessment discussion with a specialist to ensure proper performance after SEI is installed. In preparation for this assessment, it is also recommended to familiarize yourself with the different SQL Server editions available.
In order to install SEI, you must have Windows activated with the latest updates.
