Server Requirements

The server requirements include the supported Operating Systems, Database Engine, and Central Point configuration. To know more about the SEI server components and server requirements refer to Planning and Client Infrastructure Assessment.

Client Workstation Requirements

SEI Excel Add-in requires that the following be installed on the computer:

• Microsoft Excel 2016 or a higher version.
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or a higher version.
  Important

  SEI requires .Net Framework 4.8 to work properly and more specifically if you are upgrading from 8.2.7.X or earlier version. You can download and install it manually from the internet, here: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework/net48.

  .Net Framework 4.8 is required to install SEI Server - Win64.exe and SEI Excel Add-in - x64.exe. For the installation of the packages, it is mandatory to restart your server/workstation.

  Note

  .Net Framework 4.8 is installed by the packages, but if it is not previously installed, a restart is required by the package.
