Installing Excel Add-in

Important

We highly recommend installing a SEI Add-in for the Excel version that matches the exact version of the Web Server. If these do not match, errors or inconsistencies in your Excel Add-in reports can occur.

For example, if your SEI Web Server is version 9.4.417, the version of Excel Add-in used should also be 9.4.417.

Note

SEI's Excel Add-in is only supported by the Windows operating system. Please note that the Excel Add-in is not compatible with the Office or Excel installation packages from the Microsoft Store.

SEI Add-in for Excel enables users to display summary data from SEI Data Models in Excel.

SEI Excel Add-in requires a connection to a Central Point and a SEI Web server. (it also works offline after) .

The SEI Add-in for Excel should be installed on each workstation as needed.

Note

Prerequisites need to be in place on the workstation prior to using SEI Excel Add-in. Note that Microsoft Excel 2016 or later is needed to use the SEI Excel Add-in.
