Distribution Service and BI Service

The Distribution service triggers the BI Service when reports are scheduled, and handles their distribution to the configured recipients.

The distribution service can have a big impact if heavily used, in this case we would recommend to install it on a dedicated server.

It is installed with the package SEI - Server - Win64.exe, option BI Distribution Service. On the same server, there must be BI Service and Web Client.
