Project Estimate
The Project Estimate Writeback workbook creates new project estimates and updates existing estimates in Sage Intacct Construction. Use it to maintain project budget and estimate information, including cost codes, cost types, quantities, amounts, and related estimate details.
The workbook provides separate tabs for creating a new project estimate and updating an existing project estimate. It uses the NECWRITEBACK formula, generated with the Writeback Wizard, to send changes from the workbook back to Sage Intacct.
| Tab | What it does |
|---|---|
| Create New Project Estimate | Creates a new estimate for an existing Sage Intacct project. |
| Update Existing Project Estimate | Modifies an estimate that already exists in Sage Intacct. |
Typical workflow
- Select the appropriate tab: Create New Project Estimate or Update Existing Project Estimate.
- Complete or select the estimate information at the top of the workbook.
- Review the automatically populated project information.
- Enter or update the estimate lines in the estimate grid.
- Select Push to Intacct to create or update the estimate.
- Review the writeback result and verify the estimate in Sage Intacct.
- When creating another new estimate, select Reset to clear the current entry.
