Project Performance
The Project Performance dashboard combines KPI cards with trend and comparison visuals covering contract value, billing, payments received, project cost, estimated cost, margin, and over/under billing.
How to use this dashboard
- Monitor overall project performance across contract value, billing, collections, cost, and estimate information in one place.
- Track project profitability through estimated margin and margin trends over time.
- Review billing position by comparing earned revenue, billed amounts, collected amounts, and over/under billed values.
- Analyze cost performance against budgeted or estimated cost versus actual cost over time.
- Filter by reporting date, project, vendor, or customer to focus the analysis.
Key performance indicators (KPIs)
Key performance indicators (KPIs) are displayed at the top of the dashboard. They give you an at a glance summary of the current cost situation and update based on the filters you apply.

| Current Contract | Current project contract value. |
| Total Billed | Total amount billed for the selected projects. |
| Payment Received | Total payments received. |
| % Paid | Percentage of billed or contract value that has been paid. |
| Current Cost | Current project cost. |
| Estimated Cost | Current estimated project cost. |
| Over/Under Billed | Net project overbilled or underbilled position. |
| Total Estimate Margin % | Estimated project margin percentage. |
Visual components

| Revenue vs Billed vs Collected | Horizontal Bar | Compares revenue earned, billed price, and payment received by project. |
| Budget vs Actual Cost by Month | Combination | Compares budgeted or estimated cost with actual cost by month and shows the related variance percentage. |
| Margin Trend | Line | Shows current and original estimated gross margin trends over time. |
| Over / Under Billed | Line | Shows total cost, billed price, and over/under billed position over time. |
Filters
Use the filtering panel at the top of the dashboard to control which data is shown. The filters apply to all views and ensure the dashboard reflects the selections you choose.
