Budget Line

The Budget Line data model is a live, summarized view of general ledger budget lines in Acumatica. It combines budget amounts with the accounting structure used to organize them, including financial year, branch, ledger, account, subaccount, account class, and budget group hierarchy. It covers broad budget reporting and analysis, reviewing budget values by account and organizational dimension without expanding the data to individual financial periods.

This data model is built around a specific structure that requires precise parameters to return data correctly. Creating custom views directly inside this data model is not recommended as they will not have the required setup to function properly.

How to use this data model​

  • View budget amounts by account and organizational dimension, across branch, ledger, subaccount, account class, and financial year, without expanding to individual financial periods.
  • Analyze by account or subaccount using account IDs, descriptions, account classes, and account or subaccount masks.
  • Trace budget group hierarchy using group, parent group, and node information.
  • Separate released from unreleased budget lines using the budget line release status.
