First Time Configuration

This is only required for versions earlier than Version 2024 Release 3.

Excel has to be configured for the first time in order to display the SEI Excel Add-in.

  1. Open Excel.
  2. Open Excel options:
    1. In the File menu, select Options.
    2. Click Add-ins and then Go... next to the Manage drop-down list.

  3. In the Add-ins window, if the SEI Add-in for Excel.xla file is not present, click Browse... and find the file in C:\Program Files\Sage\SEI Excel Add-in.

  4. Go back to Excel Options.

  5. In the left list, click Trust Center and select Trust Center Settings...

  6. In the Trusted Locations tab, click Add new location....

  7. Enter the installation location C:\Program Files\Sage\SEI Excel Add-in and click OK 3 times to complete the installation procedure.
