Breaking Changes

  • As of October 10, 2023, Windows Server 2012 R2 will no longer be supported by Microsoft nor by SEI .

  • As of the July 2023 release, we will no longer support HTML export. Please ensure to edit your distribution jobs settings, the output will be done in a different format.

  • As of the July 2023 release, Excel Add-In retro-compatibility will be broken. The upgrade of your Excel Add-In will be mandatory with this release.

Improvements

Web Client

  • The Web Workbook (Preview):

    • New Drill Down feature, which allows you to get detailed information regarding a NECFormula.

    • Data Models IDs are now visible within the Formula Wizard.

    • Users can enable/disable the border when exporting to PDF using the toggle in the Page Layout tab. It is set to false by default.

    • Excel file with external references or Excel Add-In pivot can now be imported.

OLAP Manager

  • New Disable indexes during Refresh option in the Cube Details dialog box for SQL Server.

  • Cube slice loading was improved to avoid to overload tempdb when having a large amount of data.

Distribution

  • Ability to use Global Variables and Special Variables in the Subject and Body of the email that is resolved based on User context.

  • Ability to use Global Variables in the Network Path that is resolved based on Admin context.

DataSync

  • New interface provides the ability to load tables by partition.

  • The number of days has been increased from 365 days to 1095 days for the Process Deleted Records within the screens: New Schedule and Execute Extraction.

Sage Intacct

  • User Defined Dimensions (UDDs) in the GL module now display the field name as seen in Sage Intacct.

  • Sales Analysis and Purchases data models now include consolidation tables out of the box for custom fields. They are empty by default.

  • Two new Consolidations have been added. These are used to populate the custom field tables for the Sales and Purchases modules. The consolidations will combine all custom field tables from various DOCPARIDs into one.

Fixes

Web Client

  • Save Data setting will not appear when a worksheet cannot be edited or if it's a different view type.

  • Save Data button no longer disappears when changing view from a non-editable worksheet back to editable worksheet.

  • Exporting to Excel (.xlsx/.xls) can be completed even if a Conditional Formatting is referencing a missing dependent column.

  • Data source fields with BigInt data type will sort as expected within the views.

  • In Reports, Custom Calculation can still be edited even if a referenced worksheet is deleted.

Excel Add-in

  • Single Sign-On Authentication Services in 2023 Release 5 was not working in Cloud (On Premise was not affected).

    • Fixed an issue where negative quantities from price adjustments were not being considered in the Stock Valuation.

  • Inventory Dashboard:

    • Fixed a variety of visual bugs that were present in the Inventory, Project, and Finance Dashboards.

  • Web Workbook:

    • Fixed an issue where "year" headers were hard-coded.

  • Cubes:

    • Corrected an issue where cube descriptions did not match the attached stored procedures.
Sage X3

  • Added new views to Sales Orders and Purchase Orders data models.

  • Moved "Stock Preparation by Day" and "Stock Preparation Weekly Load" from Deliveries to Sales Orders.
