Breaking Changes

  • As of October 10, 2023, Windows Server 2012 R2 will no longer be supported by Microsoft nor by SEI.

  • As of the July 2023 release, we no longer support HTML export. Please ensure to edit your distribution jobs settings, the output will be done in a different format.

  • For On-Premise customers using a version before the July Release 8, we highly recommend upgrading your Excel Add-In.

Improvements

Web Client

  • New contextual menu in the Reporting Tree is now available to move up or down a selected node.

Olap Manager

  • EnableOlapSliceLoadParallellism parameter within the nec-centralpoint.xml is now available to improve performance in certain use cases. See FAQ for more details.

DataSync

  • Improved the performance of the Process Deleted Records to ensure to avoid the DataSync from crashing.

  • Datetime datatype for SQL Server 2005 is now supported.

  • For Custom API connector, it is now possible to edit the Tracking Time Zone.

Fixes

Installation

  • Installing the Server with only the Scheduler was not working.

Web Client

  • In the Data Model Parameters, the date field was passing the incorrect date format to the database.

  • In the command center, regular users that were also placed in a Group would see duplicates of their Reports.

  • When adding a custom calcul widget in the Report Designer, the columns didn't align properly with the other views when the grid exceeds the display size.

  • In the Report Designer, a worksheet set as Freeze Group Column would at times not align correctly with the other worksheets.

  • A worksheet with Group Formatting set to not expand the last group wasn't taken into account when exporting to xlsx.

  • The Web Workbook Drill Down did not display data when the NECFORMULA contain filters based off DateTime field.

  • The sidebar within the Web Workbook went under the charts in the sheet.

Distribution

  • Job failed when a view is being distributed in CSV format with a Distribution Filter or Restriction.

  • Job failed when a worksheet contains Data Entry columns, but a Dimension Key was not present.

DataSync

  • Azure DevOps connector has been upgraded to fix an issue with filtering based off Area Path.
