Configuring Global Variables
To configure global variables:

Navigate to the Administration menu by clicking the wrench icon in the upper right-hand corner of the main user interface.

Click the Global Variables tab in the Administration menu.

Find the @@UDM_FISCALYEAR_END_BGN entry in the Global Variables list. This global variable lets you configure the Start Year and End Year values of your Fiscal Year.

Click the Edit icon on the right to configure the global variable.

Enter the appropriate value in the Script field. The possible values of the @@UDM_FISCALYEAR_END_BGN global variable are as follows:

1 = The Fiscal Year corresponds to the calendar year of the first month.

2 = The Fiscal Year corresponds to the calendar year of the last month.

3 = The Fiscal Year corresponds to what is listed in the ERP's Fiscal Year table.

0 = The variable's default value; it can have a different meaning depending on the ERP you are using:

Sage X3 and Sage Intacct: 0 = The Fiscal Year corresponds to the Start Year if the Fiscal Year starts in periods 1-6 or the End Year if the Fiscal Year starts in periods 7-12.

All other ERPs: 0 and 3 have the same meaning.

Click Update.
If a user's First Fiscal Month value is May, the following configurations would be true for their project:
Fiscal Year = May 2021 to April 2022
Start Year = 2021
End Year = 2022
Period 01 = May 2021
Period 12 = April 2022
In this example, the Fiscal Year value can either be 2021 or 2022.
