Breaking Changes

As of our next major release (2022 R2), we will no longer support the 32-bit version of Excel Add-in for Windows 32 bits. The SEI Excel Add-in - WIN32.exe installation package will not be available. You will need Windows 64 bits in order to install Excel Add-in for MS-Office 32-bit or 64-bit version (SEI Excel Add-in - WIN64.exe).

As of January 10, 2023, Windows Server 2012 R2 will no longer be supported by Microsoft nor by SEI.

Fixes

Web Client

  • After creating a view with a name containing an accent (such as é, è, à, etc.), the view name would be displayed with special characters instead of the entered character in the Data Models and Views list. (The name was displayed correctly in the Properties dialog box.)

  • The workbook formula wizard was not able to properly apply filters on database fields that contain data starting or ending with white spaces.

  • The Dashboard filter panel would lose its location setting after switching the language to French.

  • Removing a table from the Data Model Designer would sometimes cause an error.
