Backup Strategy

Once SEI has been deployed and operating successfully, a backup strategy must be put in place.

The backup strategy could be similar to the one in place for your main data source database, contact a technical specialist to obtain help with your specific situation.

The Central Point has two elements: the Shared Folder and the SEI Database.

You should also run frequent backups of your SEI Data Warehouse database if the main data source database is too big to allow easy rebuild, or if the SEI Cubes contain history data from some other systems.
